Shelby Schafer retires from the Kimbell Art Museum after 35 years

Upon receiving Emeritus Status in the Dallas Les Dames d’Escoffier Chapter, Shelby said how much it has meant to her to be a part of the Dallas Chapter.  She went on to say that she had learned so much from her association with so many talented and giving women over the last twenty years.

“My life after retirement from the Kimbell has led to some new and exciting activities here in Fort Worth. I am loving my activities with Tarrant Area Food Bank and working with local chefs. I am really honored to have received Emeritus status in our Chapter”.
