Applications will be accepted March 16 - April 26

 

Membership criteria

 
  • Women with at least 5 years of professional experience who demonstrate achievement and show stature in the food, beverage or hospitality industry. 


Membership requirements

To collectively achieve our goals each year, full participation of each member is required.

Annually, a member is required to:

  • donate a minimum of $75 toward the chapter (goods, services or monetary contribution).

  • attend these events: Annual Business Meetings (January and June)  and New Member Induction

  • attend a minimum of one (1) fundraising event during the year.

  • join a committee.


*Membership Application Process

The Membership Application opens during the first quarter of each calendar year.

Application is available March 16 - April 26.

Items needed for the application:

  • up to date resume

  • letter of reference (from current Dame(preferred) or professional contact)

  • A statement detailing what it would mean to you to be a member of the Les Dames d'Escoffier Dallas Chapter and how you will contribute to the Chapter (500 words or less)

  • Brief bio (3-5 sentences used to introduce you to the chapter)

  • Headshot

  • Social media handles

After applications have been vetted utilizing the following rubric, potential members will be contacted for an interview and will be notified of their membership status.

The membership dues are $225 ($100 to LDEI* and $125 to the Chapter) and are due annually by July 31st.
